Making sure that your outdoors experience is perfect is our number one priority! Whether you hunt or fish, our experienced staff will make your stay at Caribou Lodge a memorable one. From our docks, you can visit five different lakes and 50 miles worth of water. With little wind to disturb you as you fish, you can try to angle for lake trout, walleye, and northern pike. Brook and rainbow trout also call our lakes home. For the adventurous, several portage lakes with boats and motors are available as well. Celebrating over 60 years in business, Carpenter’s Lodge is a six and a half hour drive from Winnipeg, or fly in on the daily commercial service between Winnipeg and The Pas. Our six clean and modern cabins all have well equipped kitchens. We also offer boat rentals and guide service. Enjoy the crystal clear waters of Clearwater Lake — it lives up to its name, with visibility of up to 30 feet below! For spring (last week of May – end of June) and fall (September/October), we have accommodation and fishing services. Come fall, enjoy some of the best waterfowl hunting available as well.

Set on the unique Reed Lake, Grass River Lodge is the perfect spot for fishing. With clear freshwater year round, dotted with over 500 islands, enjoy the 14 x 10 mile expanse. On the west side, with depths of up to 60 feet, the bays, sand bars and weed make it a perfect spawning area for northern pike and walleye. Within Clearwater Lake Provincial Park and on the south shore of Clearwater Lake lies Lockhart’s Landing. Also known as Atikameg (Whitefish, in Cree) Lake, our clear waters provide ideal fishing conditions. Located approximately 25 miles northeast of The Pas, we are drive-in accessible. If you bring your own boat, the roads are paved up until 300 meters wishing our cabins. Commercial flights are also available from Winnipeg to The Pas. Fish for lake trout and northern pike at Clearwater Lake, or visit the near Cormorant Lake for walleye and northern pike. Operated by Tracy (Millar) and Dallas Lockhart, Tracy is from The Pas and is excited to have brought the family back to the lake to run Lockhart’s Landing every summer!
